| About Us |
| We are a small breeder of American Cocker Spaniels. I am at home all day and spend that time taking care of my kids, both two legged and furry. Our dogs are very much a part of the family and are well socialized to kids, cats, other dogs and what ever happens to need rescuing on that particular day. That in the past has ranged from iguanas to guinea pigs to hedge hogs to chickens. Like mother, like children. I have been known as MommaHen for a long time with good reason. It was that rescue response that lead me to become involved with a rescued cocker spaniel and has lead to my love of the breed and my interest in bettering them. My Toby came from a breeder that was touted in the show world as a "good breeder' yet was kept in deplorable conditions and I hate the thought of anyone receiving a puppy that had been thrown in a cage and left the way he was. There for I started learning all I could about cocker spaniels, from care to health issues and decided that I wanted to start a breeding program to provide families a chance for a happy healthy home~raised puppy. My children play an active role in raising, socializing and training the dogs so that they are accustomed to obeying even the smaller members of the family. This makes the adjustments for the puppies easier when going from our home to yours. We will be moving soon to our new home in KS where our babies will have a brand new 2 acre home to roam on. I will be updating this with pictures of my new home when we are all settled in and available for visitors! |
